Pulled Muscles

A pulled or strained muscle can be painful and very debilitating.  Initial treatment is aimed at decreasing pain and may include heat/ice, massage, ultrasound, or electric stimulation.  After your pain decreases, your treatment focuses on increasing pain-free range of motion.  As your motion increases, you begin exercises to restore your strength. You will also be taught how to prevent pulling muscles in the future.
